Update!

So Sarah Collins told me that I needed to update my blog and she is right. I haven't updated in like a long while and things are going pretty good. Patrick and I have made a huge buget and we will be completely out of debt by christmas time (we hope) if things keep going the way that they are. We are really strict on our buget but, we still have money to do things that we want to do and we give each other free money that we don't have to report what we do with it to the other person. I am still working at Stonehenge and Patrick works at Sams Club in Provo. He is currently trying to move up in the company so that we can get more money but it is harder than we thought for him to be able to do that. They have offered him countless jobs that pay a little bit more but they cut his hours in half and right now we need him to be working 40 hours in order for him to bring in the money that we need for our buget. But we are so glad that we both have jobs.

So everywhere I look on facebook I swear someone is pregnant or just had a baby or whatever. Man where are all of these babies coming from and why can't I be apart of it?! Lol yes I am still a little baby hungry but I know that now is not a good time for Patrick and I. We need to get things a little bit more in order before we bring a child into the world. Yes I know we will never truely be ready but we at least want some of our chickens in a row before making a huge decision. Patrick only wants 2 kids but I am thinking more along the lines of 4...maybe I can pursuade him for more...mwahahaha :)

So I am doing this hCG diet and it is sooo freakin hard but it is working out so well. Today is technically day 7 on my diet and I have lost over 8lbs! This is how it works. hCG is the hormone that women produce when they are pregnant and what it does is release all of the stored fat in your body. So everyday I take 20 drops of the hormone and then I can only eat 500 calories a day. And that doesn't mean I can just count calories, I specifically have things that I can and can't eat. like Only a specific type of dressing I can use that is calorie free, sugar free, and carb free. Can't have any starches and can only have a total of 200g of meat a day. They are very specific about what kinds of meats I can have too. It is supposed to reset your metabolism so that it is faster and it is supposed to reset your thyroid. (which I have a problem with, it is too slow) So anyways, I lose about a pound a day and sometimes more! I love seeing results fast and I also love knowing that I am not going to gain it back. I am also running a relay race this summer with my family. It is called the Ragnar Relay Race. It starts in Ogden and goes to like Layton or something. I have to be able to run 5 or more miles at a time and it is going to be so hard but another thing that is so worth it! As soon as I am doing with my diet, Probably another 34 days until I am, then I will be running like mad to be able to run all of those miles.

Things right now are crazy and yet calm right now in the John house. We are just living life and trying to get by from day to day. Until next time!

  1. Thanks for the update :) I pretty much demanded it, haha. But it's nice since I don't get to see you very often (which is ridiculous, seeing that we live only 5 blocks from each other--we should fix that).
