Honey the baby Teleported...What?!?

So just the other day Patrick was watching Shayleigh while I was working for my sister-in-law and I get this call from him...

Me: Hey honey what's up??
Patrick: Nothing much except for the fact that Shayleigh teleported...
Me: Wait she did WHAT??
Patrick: Well, I was up here doing my homework and letting her crawl around and play and then all of the sudden I noticed it was silent and I heard a plastic ball clattering downstairs, so I called out to her...and I heard nothing so I went to go and check it out. Sure enough she was downstairs playing with a ball in the kitchen!

You can't even imagine my shock when he told me this because 1.Shayleigh has never attempted to go down the stairs at all 2. She didn't totally biff it and 3. Patrick didn't even notice that she was gone until she was all of the way in the kitchen lol. She can now successfully go up and down the stairs by herself...she is like superbaby! And she is always surprising me with something new she can do. I just love her to pieces and I sometimes can't believe she is actually mine :)

It is pretty sad because she is sick right now. She has almost completely lost her voice. I can barely hear her cry, laugh, or the squeal that I love to hear. It is breaking my heart at how sick she is, it is like it happened in a blink of an eye. Just this morning her voice was totally fine and then I come home from work to hear her totally blocked up. Luckily I have a humidifier and some vapo-rub I put on her chest and back. I hope she gets better soon :( The only good side to her being sick is that she actually cuddles and falls asleep in my arms. But I would take my healthy, goofy, loud, and non-cuddly baby girl over a sick one.

This was her reading with Patrick just last night. She snuggled right up to him and was reading "Baby Donald Makes A Snow Friend" One of her many favorite books :) Ahhh I love my little family!
