Another Fever, Another Trip to the Doc

So on Tuesday I noticed that Shayleigh was really warm. She woke up with a low grade fever of 99.5 and then it progressed to 101 by the middle of the day. Too bad it was Pioneer day and so all of the doctors were closed so we had to take a trip to the instacare. I am frustrated because we don't have any insurance and so it cost us $100 to see the doctor and then $60 for the meds because she is allergic to penicillin. She had still been on antibiotic, but since she was diagnosed at the ER with a Sinus Infection, the doctor prescribed medicine for that and it didn't cover the ears. So the Doc at the Instacare told us to stop the other antibiotic and start the new one for another 10 days. Too bad our insurance doesn't kick in for another week or else we would've only had to pay $25 to see the doctor. Any by the end of all of this my poor baby will have been on medicine for almost a whole month! She has been so sickly lately I feel so bad for her. She is so sad and pathetic when she isn't feeling well. After we are insured I am going to go talk to our doctor about the possibility of getting tubes put in Shayleigh's ears. I think it will save her a lot of heartache and sadness. My mom told me that when I was 9 months old I had to get them so I can see how Shayleigh would probably need them. I just hope that she will be done being sick for at least 6 months. Pray for us!! haha.
